Nandani is very attractive, but I think not as quick witted or intellgent as Ms. Rambalak, i heard Ms. Rambalak speak and she is the smartest of the lot and has had some international experience, so won’t embarrass Guyana when asked difficult questions.

i think nandani and rambalak has what it takes(the looks)… first of all if you look at the miss universe pagents over the recent years only the pretties get selected… plus guyana never gets placed on the hot list… so whats the use of going to pagents if your not being noticed… remember the latinas are very strong this year…

Out of the two, i would pick Lucria Rambalak, I think she has the “Right-Stuff”, We may not make the top 5, but at least we can stand a fighting chance. Rambalak has the brains to impress the judges, she is well traveled and her general knowledge is very impressive, she would be an excellent choice.

Ms. Lulu Rambalak, she is a queen already, just one look at a contestant and you can tell who’s got it and who doesn’t, and Ms. Rambalak’s got it all…..beauty, intelligence, talent, experience, education, and all the other Queen material. This is the kind of individual to represent Guyana, one that will make it to the top ten or five, not just a glimpse on the stage on the night of the show when we all sit down in front of the TV to watch the pageant.

I was fortunate to meet Lucria Rambalak at a function a few weeks ago, I have to say she was very charming and a pleasure to speak to, she is definitely no “Air-Head”, she has brains and beauty, from my conversation with her, I think she’d be perfect to represent Guyana, I would like to wish her all the best.

Lucria Rambalak all the way, I saw her at the swimsuit completion and she was so far ahead of the others that it wasn’t even fully, this girl has what it takes to be a winner, the audience loved her, she was extremely comfortable on stage, she had a radiant look that was clear for all to see, this girl has to win.

I have to agree, with some of the other comments, i have seen all these girls and i hate to say so, this girl Rambalak is our best hope. She seems to stand out from the rest, i saw her at the swimsuit round and for the brief time she was on, she stole the show and had the crowd screaming.

Went to that circus of swim suit competition, not only did it start late but i never saw so much skunt. i saw knotted bra strap,wedgy, roll up bra straps and breast falling out bra……..WHAT THE FUCK was all i could have said…..Guess they use 1 size fit all swim suit

I agree with Raptus, who cares about Hendrax and the Governor, the other thing is I was also at the circus, but it wasn’t that bad, I was upset that it started late, but we have to thank GPL for that. The other matter with the knotted bra straps and wedgy etc., OK this is true, some of the girls weren’t checked before they left the dressing room. Now to the matter of one size fits all swimsuits. I did see a problem here, some girls were falling out of their tops, there should have been some personalization to the swim suits. As to the show, some of the poor girls seemed terrified, but some were also excellent. From what I saw I would have to put my choices are Rachel Bakker, Nandani Seecharan and Lucria Rambalak. Out of the lot Lucria Rambalak was the best by far, she used the entire stage and worked the crowd well, the confidence and STAR quality was obvious for all to see, even blowing kisses at the audience. I wasn’t sure about Rambalak, but having seen her the other night, she was light-years ahead of the others, if we are looking for the best girl, she’d be the one, let’s trust our selection is based on merit.

Guyana cannot ask for a great candidate like Ms. Lucria Rambalak to represent us in the Miss Universe Pageant coming up, for she is smart, charming, independent, brave, experienced and very beautiful. She is the right girl to represent Guyana becasue she has experience in shows, concerts and live performances. Some of these are the Carifesta events , the Apsara shows and many more. Lucria is one that i know will not let Guyana down and will put her best into winning the Miss Universe. We all pray and wish she gets the chance she rightfully deserves for she is the best candidate by far in all aspects required to represent Guyana. She shows that Guyana has beauty, intellect and courage and i speak for everyone when i say we wish her all the best and hope she is judged Miss Guyana so she can make Guyana Proud in The Miss Universe Pageant. I dont know Ms. Rambalak that much, i have seen her around on campus (i.e university of guyana) but what i do know, is that she has what it takes to win this this competition. She has the body, beauty and brains, also most importantly she has had the experience of such competitions. She knows what they are about and as such i think she will be the best to represent guyana. Hence, i feel confident when i say that Ms. Rambalak, without a shadow of doubt, will be the winner of this competition

I belive u of u who post blog here r not familiar wid beauty pageant,first of all u all need to go and check out global beauties and missologgy.com and u r going to what i am talking about,first Lucria Rambalack is to short and the most important she dont have a well toned body and not even a pageant face,most of the girl who go to miss universe is between 5′7 to 6′2 .
out of those 15 i pick (1) Nandanie Seecharran,she is soo stunning,beautiful face,nice toned body,Remember Miss Trindad & Tobago (Valene Maharaj) in Miss World 2007? that what i am talking about this girl is going to make Guyana have the first semi-fanalist ,or runner up,even win the miss Universe, Miss Univese is about fresh faces.
(2) Latoya Maraj she posses all quality to be a winner and finally (3) Ornella Ramcharran,i truly think this girl had and look the best in the swim suit final.
So u all need to follow up more on beauty pageant before making or submit comment,and by the way things is guyana is all ways the same CHEATING…so hope the jugdes nah go blind and stop wasteing money and send not so good looking girl at Miss Universe,because there r only making number not place…

Sometimes i am shocked by all these negative things i read, first of all the Miss Universe in no F…ing Intelligence contest, it’s a F…ing BEAUTY pageant, the stress in on BEAUTY, not IQ, shit all this crap about intelligence all they have to do is feed the world and cure AIDS of say that’s what they are going to do. All the girls are not the brightest sparks, lets be honest. This Rambalak girl does seem to be very good as an all rounder, In these competition intelligence does not carry the highest weighting, so get over it it an eye candy competition , i for one would love to see Rambalak get it, i think is is the best of the lot and won’t embarrass Guyana overseas.

I am always disappointed when I see the contestants Guyana sends to represent at the international beauty contests. As some stated earlier, fresh face is a factor but so is height, intellect, beauty and poise. For a change, these numbskulls should politics and cheating aside and send the girls that have a chance of winning the crown. Step up your game Guyana! Janel Cox has nice eyes and an attractive face; how tall is she? Best of luck to her…
